Good Afternoon folks, hope you can shed some light on an issue I'm having.
I'm trying to replace my valve guide seals and have taken the from of the car apart it seems like to get drive side valve cover off.. that engineer should be shot, but I digress. I have the chains marked and chain wedge ready to go.. I have to tool to remove springs and ready to remove cams.
I bought a hose with the 14mm thread to fit to spark plug hole to put air compression into cylinder so my valves don't drop. I have now gone through 4 different hoses and adapters and I cannot fine ONE that will thread into the sparkplug hole.. HELP. what am I doing wrong? none of them will thread into any of hole and the spark plug threads look fine. I'm super frustrated and about to push the car into the dumpster. this thing is not user friendly ~~ thanks for any tip or tricks.
