Hey all

I am looking to help a friends kid with a school project. They need to have a postcard from all 50 states. They already have the following states: Tennessee, Missouri, Iowa, Illinois, Indiana, North Carolina, South Carolina, Florida, Colorado, Arizona, New York, Ohio, Texas, Pennsylvania and Michigan.

Here are the states that have been added already ...
Washington, Alabama, New Jersey, Massachusetts, Virginia, New Mexico, Nebraska, Maryland, Kansas, Hawaii, Maine and Wisconsin

And Germany for good measure!

Anyone who could take the time to send a post card, shoot me a PM, I will send you the name and address to send it to.

Appreciate any help you can give.

Thanks!
Anthony

Wish I was a 5th grader when I joined this board, I wouldn't have to do anymore homework.

:D His homework project is to try and get a postcard from all 50 states. When I was a kid, this would not have been possible ... the tv remote control was me getting up to change the channel! With the internet, it opens these opportunities and possibilities with today's youth. My oldest is looking at Robotics, and he is in the 5th grade! The middle school he will be attending just had their Robotics instructor recognized at the state level for her work.

Technology allows for this to happen

HE is not getting the postcards, you are!

True. I am helping a friends son reach out to get the postcards. They are being sent to him at his house. He gets to do all the other work involved with this project. I volunteered to reach out to this community and my truck community asking if anyone would be willing to help. I think it is a really cool project. I like working with kids and I think projects like this can help build a community.

If you know of another way for a 10 year old boy to get postcards from each state besides from parents/parent friends, please let me know.

eBay was not an option per one of the project requirements.

Thanks!
Anthony

So far, he has the most of any other student in the class. His teacher is very surprised at the number of cards he received. This is not due, so no grade, till the end of the calendar year.

So 1Marauder, you still have time to send it over!

Hunter, the kid, will be writing thank you notes to show his appreciation for all of your help!

Thanks!
Anthony

Well that's cool!

I don't remember if I put a return address on the card I sent so if not he doesn't have to worry about the thank you.
