2017 Louisville Marauders Meet!!!

April 11th-15th


The reason for this is because of additional bookings at hotels...anything outside these dates are nearly double the rates.

Also, with this being so close to Easter and Good Friday, we are looking to have the Raffle/Cookout on Thursday instead of the last day...not set in stone though...

I know it's unusual to have it pushed back some days, but if anyone wants to stay thru the weekend I'm sure the hotel will be glad to accommodate...

If everything works out we will have a special first for a Louisville Meet...

Stay tuned, the Itinerary is being tweeked and should be out by Christmas!!!

OK, I've went back and forth with dates with the hotel and we have it worked out for what I hope will be the best for everyone. It will be a little different this year but I think for the best. We are beginning to plan events with hopefully some cool stuff and hopefully a first for this Meet. Stay tuned and thanks for all the input guys n gals.

What is this meet all about? This is the most fun you can have at a meet! This is a bunch of good friends getting together to celebrate friendship, and our cars... any car. It does not matter! It's the first get together of the year, it's how we start off all things good for the season. For us Northern folks its usually the first time we've had our cars out... it's all about the whine of 30 superchargers screaming onto the highway at once! Does the GN run?
It will start, has good fuel pressure at 40lbs, but if you put it in gear it stalls. I did a quick visual and found one ground wire broken on the driver's side rear head. It did have some module plugged into the TPS, but I've since unplugged it.

Yeah that little black box with a few LEDs was a tps tech. It was for people who can't set a tps sensor
Throw that box in the trunk

Set the tps key on engine not running, idle is .40 volts Dc and wide open throttle is 4.60 volts Dc. Try removing the floor mat

Check for vacuum leaks, replace all the 5/32 and 7/32 hoses under the hood

What size injectors and is it the oem chip in the pcm? The chip has to match injector size or it will be rich

There's no floor mats in the car, I'll set the TPS but which wires do I reference while setting it? I know I need to go through the vac lines. I see the boost solenoid is off and the wastegate is closed. It has 42lb injectors and I have no idea what chip is in there but the previous owner said it was spark knocking until he replaced it with the current chip.

It's been awhile since I've set the tps without a scan tool. I would put the ground at battery and use a paper clip to backprobe the blue wire on the tps, that wire should give you both idle and wot. Just keep trying the tps settings and slowly start tightening the screws

Then unplug the ecm orange power wire at the battery, pull out the ecm, pull the larger prom chip and look at the underside of it. Write down the info please

Can you get me a injector id number, they might be black with a green stripe or black with a blue stripe. One is 009 42.5 lbs green, and blue are tomco 42 lb

.40 to 4.60 on GM's? Damn, Ford is like .99 to 4.99.

If they run a reference signal he should be able to just back probe both + & - right at the TPS.

Yes GM is different and there's 3 wires on the tps

Once the car is running the .40 will be more like .42 and 4.60 volts for wot is enough to keep the power enrichment locked in for correct fueling

Ok, I'll try that. I've done TPS on Fox Mustangs a million times, this doesn't sound much different. The injectors I have are black with green stripe. I also have an adjustable FPR and K&N filter. I'll see if I can get out there tonight and get the chip info. Thanks for your help.

I will add that Bryan if you wanted to drive your Dad's WE4 I would be all for it. You and I have put a ton of daily driven miles on Turbo Regal's over the years. There is a fine line from about 450hp to 650hp that makes these cars difficult to rely upon on a long distance trip.
