No power

Hurricane Matthew hit us hard here on the Carolina coast.We haven't had power since Sat.Oct.8th.The power was finally restored today Oct.11th.
Guess a generator will be on my Christmas list..I hope that you'all made out OK..A couple of the piers that jutted out into the ocean were washed away as well as a lot of trees and roofs..We're still cleaning up.My inground pool was about 3 feet deep of debris.What a mess.We were lucky though.Thank GOD that's over for now...

Meanwhile in the other Carolina... near Raleigh.....

No loss of power and no damage, just some dead branches came out of the trees. About 15 minutes of yard work.
