View Full Version : Some People Suck

While cleaning my Marauder yesterday I noticed my passenger taillight was damaged. Looks like someone walking by whacked it. No other damage to the car thankfully. Its pretty frustrating because I try hard to make the car look presentable and then someone decides to screw with it. Not that it's in great shape to begin with, but still. I had it parked in the street, im guessing someone saw the cruiser in my driveway last week and isn't a fan of my job perhaps. Not letting it get to me, but wanted to vent to some people who can understand!

Also, if anyone sees a taillight for sale, shoot me a heads up. I have a wanted post up as well.

I was at a restaurant in Hershey PA a few weeks ago. Somebody keyed mine front to rear, both sides and rear trunk lid.
Pretty sure they thought it was a cop car.

That really sucks, it's always a possibility in my mind

If going through insurance for getting it painted, make sure they don't screw you on estimate. And take it to a body shop you trust and not the insurance company's "approved" or "recommended" shop.
Very sorry to hear about that.

Thanks. I got the work done. $500 deductible. The complete job was just under $3k.
Franky, I was disappointed with the paint job.
I actually picked the place because they have a pretty good local reputation.
They warranted the work for a year, so I'm going to file a claim against the warranty. Just haven't gotten around to it yet.

Re the rear light... Let's hope something fell from tree or space station and plunked your tail light.
Re the paint claim, make it soon in writing and with shop boss. Ask if better for them to wait till march-may to fix it.
