I do understand collecting and the limits that go along with. At some point the item doesn't have any further room to increase in value. If it makes anyone feel better, that Mercury lighter is now in a hipsters skinny jeans pocket and being used to light clove cigs.

I was referring to the zippo that came out in 03 from the catalog that had various Marauder items in it. That lighter is still available as a blank lighter and can be recreated for less. The one in the auction was a original zippo from the early 50s, not specific to the Marauder.

I'm with you but That is what they said in 1988 when 1971 convertible hemi cudas went for 25k. You can never be too sure what the market will bare.

True, the box would have to have the lid printed with the logo. The post above mine shows what it looks like. It would be doable though.

There were so many non authorized items made for these cars after they were made. A reproduction lighter wouldn't be that different if done correctly.

Ahhh!!!! The Original Marauder Pen and Key Chain, Two of the original Marauder accessories that I have been looking for.

If you ever want to sell them please let me know... As far as that goes any of the original Marauder Accessories. :D
