I just wanted to let everyone here know that I lost my mother yesterday due to complications from Dementia. She was 81 years young. She was first diagnosis with it in 2013. She was admitted into a home about 5 weeks ago after a 3 week stay in the hospital. Her last days were hard on her. I'm glad to see that she does not have to suffer anymore. Mom will be cremated and have a memorial at a later date. On behave of my father, brother and myself thank you for your support.

Sorry for your loss, my mother also 85 is slowly on the same path, nursing home, riddled with arthritis and can not get out of bed, eat, get dressed or anything really. legs are atrophied in fetal position. She weighs 80 lbs. I hate how there's nothing my family can do and have to watch her slowly whittle away.

So sorry to hear this Darryl. Sincerest condolences to you and your family. Loss of a parent is difficult. My Dad departed in 1992 and Mother in 2000.

you are my special Marauder pal Big Slim, I came to Michigan to celebrate The Marauderville@ Woodward Dream Cruise and Trilogy Open house back in the day.
I had conversed with you on the forum but that was our first meeting.
I had just drove from Chicago met you Jerry Barnes ,Big Dave , and many Marauder enthusiasts at the designated location.
After the introductions you threw me the keys to Trilogy car # ? silver, your first Trilogy Mercury Marauder.
You said," go see what you think!"
I stepped on it! such fond memories, My brother may your mother rest her soul, in eternal peace knowing she is cherished by her family and friends.
Love you my brothern, know you and yours will be in my prayers!

That was MV III in Detroit during August 2005. Hard to believe that was more than 11 years ago.

So sorry to hear this. I wish she didn't have to suffer through this. Try to remember as she was and not as she is know. I looked through some old pictures that helped me remember when my mom was "Mom". My best wishes for you your and mother.

Thank you Bradley. I remember that night. That was the night me and Mike both got tickets. I got one for doing a burnout and Mike got popped for racing a Corvette. (BTW, he beat the Vette).

Thank you to all. This has always been a "family type" site. I don't think of this as a car site. I think of it as family getting together and discussing the things we love. I am so glad to have a community that comes together when we need to. Once again, thank you for all the support you have shown for my family and me.

I do remember that ,Mike couldn't take Doougie Howeser running his mouth about a 20 yr. old having a Corvette, that daddy didn't pay for. I remember the cop that wrote Mike was a lady. (very cute too).
I rode around with Jerry and your dad in Trilogy #2 during the dream cruise, Jerry was getting taunted by the crowd to do burnouts every time we slowed to a snails pace.
Jerry got a finger wagged , by the po po but no tickey!
Bitter sweet, winning and 3 points on the record.
Miss you Buddy!

Sorry for your loss Slim. I lost my dad last March and haven't spoken to my mother since then. I HIGHLY advise you to go to greave Counseling. It will help you learn how to surf tough the waves. One day you are fine, the next day something as little as a smell will have you crying harder than you have in your entire life. Do not put this off. Sorry to sound preachy, but I'm speaking from experience.

Take care of yourself and I'm sorry what you are going though.
