Anyone have a history with frozen locks on a Montego or 500?

Frequently my driver's door lock will freeze after wet conditions and a freeze. I can unlock the car in the morning, then shut the door OK, but if I then open the door it will not latch shut a second time and will not lock until it thaws. Sometimes cycling the locks will free it up, but not always.

Just checking to see if anyone has experience with it before I tear things apart?

lube it with something that displaces moisture

Like WD-40 (Water Displacement, 40th formula).
