I have tried several different brands. The MSD lasted longer than the others, but the Ford coils lasted the longest.

Visteon VIS60-1000 coils, if you can find them. Visteon is the company Ford created to supply itself with parts. Ford OE coils were made by Visteon.

They're still listed on amazon, though currently unavailable. Not available anywhere anymore. Actually looks like these aren't made any more, so Motorcraft is your only bet for OEM quality.
