Today Detroit loss a big hero. The owner of the Detroit Red Wings and the Detroit Tigers Mike Ilitch past today at the age of 87. He was the owner and founder of "Little Caesars Pizza". He was responsible for bringing 4 championships for the Red Wings and two "World Series" trips for the Tigers. He was not only a great team owner, he was a great Detroit developer. He wife is the owner of "Motor City Casino". His estimated worth was around six billion dollars. It bis a shame that he will not see the opening of his new state-of-the-art "Little Caesars Arena" this fall. R.I.P. Mike Ilitch.

Sad day indeed. One of the best owners in all of sports. Truly loved the city, his players, and the fans. A real class act.....
