Are there certain restrictions for new members when attempting to send private messages?
Thanks!

Ah ok. I'm over on crownvic.net because I have an 06 CVLX but I'm desperately trying to find someone who makes a deadpedal and I've read a member here named BigCars4ever makes them.. not sure if he still does though.

The BC4E dead pedal has been here for a decade and with a 280lb beefcake standing on it during a few pucker maneuvers it has not failed me.

So, if I wanted to swap my CV 2v for the Marauder 4v setup, would I just be looking at heads, intake, pistons, cams, timing chains and a tune?

Awesome, thanks!
So you've got the Trilogy SC setup? I'm guessing that's the discontinued kit?
I like the Pos Displacement style blowers that sub in for the manifold so I'm *not too attracted to the ADTR kit (though it is cheap). Is there still a "easy" way to put together a trilogy style kit myself? The parts anyways.

Couldn't find anything listed under this website. Maybe you meant deadpedalsplus.com?
That site is out of stock though.

I believe Bigcars4ever and deadpedalsplus are the same thing..it's his business. I may be wrong
Positive displacement blower is a roots blower, not the ADTR kit, that is a centrifugal blower..each has their own pros/cons..depends what your goals are.
Lookunder the Power Adder section and there is a list of parts for the "eaton swap" which is buying the parts to fit a eaton cobra blower on it. requires relocating battery etc.. parts can run $3500-$5500 depends on how new or used they are. install and dyno tune if not doing your self will run around $1500 give or take..can;t drive it without a tune so not a weekend warrior thing and drive it to work Monday all done for the most part.
Stock motor is good for possibly up to 450 rwhp..most stay at around 425 rwhp whenh doing the swap. So around $ 7k give or take a $1000 can get you boosted, if you want more hp, then you'll need $15k-25k plus as the trans will need upgrades, axles, forged internals inmotor, bigger blower etc... it gets pricey fast.

There are current builds/threads on this on crownvic.net..the site appears to be down at the moment
Just buy a marauder, less hassle IMO.

Daily driver. Don't want too much complications. I think I like the "idea" of aftermarket forced induction more than the execution. If it was a plug and play kit (other than the ADTR one) I'd consider jumping on it.
I used to have a G8 GT. 4000 pounds, 350hp. Felt almost right. Would be more than pleased if I could get close to that with this car.
Would probably still have the G8 GT but I got t-boned by a red light runner. Totaled.

On principle I can't disagree with this, but after my previous car accident I was quite blessed to be gifted a CV in pretty decent condition so I have some financial room to invest in it. Bits and pieces here and here though.
Buying the MM would be much less hassle but out of my financial realm.
Seems like MMs really hold their value. I often see them for the same as a G8!
I've dug a little through the CV builds and looks like the MM.net stuff is a lot better organized. (Not dissing anyone who spends time.over there too).

Yeah... Probably still easier than valve conversion.. just figure if maybe the engine blows I could go ahead with the conversion, but that may not be for 200k more miles LOL. These things are just tanks.. They never seem to quit!
I had the same conclusion about the mild cam/valve setup in my G8. Just easier to get it blown than mess with heads and cams. And that was just one cam!

Thanks for the advice. That's probably the way I'll go.
So I've hit the 10 posts and still can't seem to get a message out to BC4E. Any ideas?
I hit send and it just returns me to in-box like nothing happened. "0 sent items"

All my info was based on a 4v dohc motor, not cv motor. 2v slightly different, 400 hp max recommended. a cv needs a tork tek kit for a roots blower. get a tune and some 3.73 or 4.10 gears and it will wake the car
up.
you have to have your messages set to save your sent messages, default is not to save.
