What do you get when you put over 300 HP to the wrong wheels?

That hideous thing looks like they took the Lexus styling design team along with the Honda engineers and locked them in a room with a Subaru WRX and a big bowl of dank!
:puke:
Good Gawd is that thing f*ggly.
BTW: Did you notice the THREE friggin' Fart pipes!!??
What are the Ricer Retards going to do with it!??
It already has Type 'R' stickers and 3 Fart pipes.
I can't wait to see these things in the ditches after the Ricer Retard owners get a full hit of 306 HP Torque Steer!......

The good news for the retard ricers who actually dump $35K for this rolling abortion....
is that just a few stickers will get them over 400 HP!

That thing is ugly from front to back. What is with the large suitcase type handle on the rear?

Can you bolt a 747 wing onto an OEM ricer wing!?

Can you bolt a 747 wing onto an OEM ricer wing!?
No .... It has to be welded by an Aluminum welding professional. The 727 wing is a better fit.

How ironic, a bunch of guys that worship a defunct car company are ridiculing one of the most successful car companies.
And "retard"? That's pretty classless. I'm not sure about 300hp in a fwd car either, but it's no longer 1950 and the derogatory use of that word is flat-out offensive.
Mind you, I'd much rather have my Mercurys than that Honda, but in the business of selling cars, Honda is far from dumb.

Car doesn't look that bad, loose the wing and stick on deflectors on the roof, I'd drive one............

Gotta agree with the above post. I too would not own that car if given to me, but what I do appreciate is that they are at least attempting to go after a niche market who appreciate cars for more than a mode of transportation.

JEEZ!
Don't get all butt-hurt!
Did I violate the 'PC' police guidelines or something!?
I'll continue to use the word 'Retard' because I was born in the 50's and the word doesn't offend me....sorry if it offends you.
BTW: I will ridicule that clapped out Ricer Type 'R' as much as I want...including its' THREE tailpipes on a 4 cylinder car!
Honda makes and sells millions of fuel efficient, dependable, boring, soulless road going appliances...nothing wrong with that;
but a vast majority of the lemmings who buy Hondas repeatedly prove to me daily that they have no clue and no right to be behind the wheel driving.

While my dislike for this car doesn't take on "Walsh-ian" proportions, we all have to remember that we old fogies are not the intended market for it. The target market is likely 18-34. As the esteemed Mr. Gerard said above, at least they're building a version with increased performance, instead of another Dodge Dart.

Here comes more 'Walsh-ian' Ricer venom!....

That godawful sound is the result of Honda's: “Center-Exit Triple-Exhaust Tip System.” or CETETS....yeah right! ...
Can't wait to be annoyed by this weed wacker sound buzzing in my ears!.....:mad2:
What I really love is how Honda has totally missed their target audience/buyer!
The only people that this hideous, riced out 'styling' will appeal to is a bunch of 18-25 year old Ricer Wankers* ....who CAN'T afford a $35,000 Civic!...:D

I like the new civics way better than the previous gen. Agree the wing has to go! I like it other than the wing. I'd rather have a Golf R in the sports compact segmen in that power range. I have to disagree not the ugliest the Pontiac Aztec now that thing was hidious!

LOL....
You and I KNOW that you will never see a Honda parked in my driveway.
Occasionally the 427 Cobra....but.....
the 427 Cobra only has 2 exhaust pipes....I feel lame compared to the Honda Civic Type 'R' ....:depress:

I just saw one at last weekend's Cars & Coffee in Timonium Md.
Really an UGLY car.
Honda fell for their own Ricer hype with this winged, 3 piped mess!
Guy was so proud of his new Type 'R' and the fact that he had the 1st one in the Baltimore area.
Only thing is.....he paid $10,000 over MSRP to get it!!!
45 large for a Honda Civic....:shake:
I think that the Honda dealer gave this owner an extra "exhaust pipe" at that price!

No .... It has to be welded by an Aluminum welding professional. The 727 wing is a better fit.
A lot of aircraft aluminum is made from non-weldable alloys.

alot of negative feed back..........i kinda like it...i would lose the wing for sure, but they weren't the first to do 300 in a FWD configuration.... Noen had it in 2004,say what ya want, some MM on hear would have a hard time beating it down the track......
