Some info to get you started:
https://www.obd-codes.com/p0171
"Basically this means that an oxygen sensor in bank 1 has detected a lean condition (too much oxygen in the exhaust). On V6/V8/V10 engines, Bank 1 is the side of the engine that has cylinder #1. The P0171 is one of the more common trouble codes."

could be dirty maf, vacuum leak, bad 02 sensor ,clogged injector, bank 1 is the side of motor with cylinder 1

Since a lot of people get confused by this, let me add that Bank 1 is the passenger side on these motors, unlike many Bow-Tie products.
Not sure why this was in the Transmission forum...moving to Shop Talk and editing title for more clarity.

It's already been moved to right section, he is a moderator and has the ability to move it. we gave you ideas as it is never just a cut and dry answer with codes. have you done any of them?
