A truly smart computer could make use of individual cylinder bank knock sensing. I'm not sure we have that smart a PCM. Are the knock sensors intended for a specific side of the engine? I did not see an indication by wire color or mounting differences.
No, I'm not going to "just turn them off" without taking a shot at tuning them to work with the forged SC engine.
You are wasting your time trying to make them beneficial. Completely false sense of security

So you don't know the answer?

I'll tell you this: I've been around enough tuners who tried to get the knock sensors dialed in but it was a complete waste of time. Back in 04, I swapped to a 2004 pcm and added in the 2nd knock sensor. They are better used for adding in timing than removing it. They simply cannot remove it fast enough to save your engine.
And when I say add timing, I'm talking 1-2 degrees tops.
But go right ahead and experiment with them.

Are they specific to left or right side of the engine?
