Hello All,

It's been a long time since I've been on the site.
I still have my 2004 Marauder and I need some help.

After sitting for the winter, my Air Ride Compressor has given up its ghost.

I've tried looking around for a replacement and I'm having
a very difficult time finding anything.

FORD is of no help, as if they ever were
but now they are not even producing our parts
due to *POPULARITY* .

Does anyone have a clue where a reman pump can be purchased ?

Is there a such thing as a reman kit to rebuild the pump ?

Thanks,

Spectragod

This dryer has 2 outlets.
The Marauder dryer has only 1 outlet.
Are the dryer caps interchangeable ?

On the second link, you should look at more pics because the first one the compressor looks weird.

I had the same experience. Last week, I took the Marauder out of winter storage, and my air suspension pump had also given up the ghost. My mechanic looked at it, and informed me that the part was no longer available from Ford. Ten minutes on the internet, and I ordered the exact replacement pump from Parts Geek.

It came the next day. My mechanic could not believe how fast it came. He offered me a job of searching for parts for him. The pump was in the car in less than one hour and I was driving baby to a cruise that night. Ahhh... ain't life and the internet grand!

Last summer I was on vacation for a week in Michigan when mine went out. Ordered one from Arnott and had delivered to my rental next day. Not very expensive either for brand new/free shipping compared to what I've seen some sell on here used.

This is unhelpfully vague as it was decade ago but mine rusted up from water pooling in the box it sits in. There is a way to rebuild them. Someone on this board used to do it. I tried myself once but it was rusted so badly I couldn't separate it and broke some screwdrivers. Went with an arnott. At the time there was 2 that would fit. The only difference between the two was that one was marauder specific, the inlet hose part was rotated like 45 degrees so the hose wouldn't be jammed into the side of the plastic box it sits in.

Drill extra drainage holes in the box the compressor sits in.

I was gonna suggest Suncore Industries, but I just checked, and now they carry everything except the compressor itself. Too bad, they were a good deal a couple years ago.

I agree about Suncore. I replaced the air springs three years ago and they (Suncore) had rapid service and a good product.
