Has anyone had a problem with their Marauder front facia cracking through the mounting bolt hole? I washed the Marauder the other day and noticed that the lower left part of the front facia was cracked. Neither my wife or I remember hitting anything. When I crawled under the car, the facia was no longer attached to the mounting bolt and the piece had split right through the mounting bolt hole. When I looked at the other side, I did note that the mounting there seemed to pull the facia up towards the underside of the body and placed the facia under stress.

I am going to check with my dealer about this since I can find no marks on the bumper where someone might have backed into the car. Any info on similar experiences would be helpful. I did a limited search and found nothing in the forum.

Thanks for any input.

Hi,
Her '97 Sebring coupe front end has a ground clearance
of about 4 inches. I noticed it sagging one day and found
the bumper cover popped through the mounting holes.
Front end got caught on a curbstop and when she backed out, ripped it through the holes. The front end cover was dragging on the ground now. My fix was to get some large
fender washers about the size of a half dollar, remove the mounting screws and insert the washer and tighten it back up thereby lifting the popped bumper cover back in place.
We didn't have anymore problems after that. Hope this helps.

The front end on the MM is low and will scrap a normal curb or parking lot tire stop very easily. You could of gone over a stop or curb and then backed-up and torn the front facia off the mounting bolt and not even know it.
