This car checked all the boxes.

Purchased buy a friend of Pops in 2008 or so. Found it on Facebook on a reposted Craigslist ad and put a deposit on it within an hour of it being posted.

Got in touch with Pops and he gave me the lowdown on the car, booked a flight. Drove it, put it on a lift. Bought it. Then got a visit from Pops as an added Bonus!

Those of you that know me have heard about my search for this car. A good 7 year search.

Now to break out the torches and make it mine!!
I have had the car about a week and have been struggling with the decision to modify a pristine example but at the end of the day my search was for a good sheet metal example with air.

Now on to a 4 link rear
Mustang 2 front end and a coyote swap.

I stumbled across a rollover GT350 recently for 16K that would have been the perfect donor car but I hadn't found the Comet yet.

And yes, I'm thinking of selling the Vagon.
If you know anybody looking, it has 20000 miles on it. I am the only owner, still covered by bumper to bumper. And can be easily be taken back to stock as no original parts were modified, in stock form it still has another 50000 miles of powertrain waranty not even the ECU. And stock it still does high 11s.
Right now it has low 10s in it.

It ain't cheap LOL
