For those that want a laugh looky here...

This junk spent 4 months at a repair shop to honor the transmission warranty and as soon as I drive it the wheel falls off. Believe it or not I found this amusing. Damages will be fixed and I'll have my beast back on the street. Managed to get it home on three lug nuts from the other wheels.

Enjoy my pain.

Nah, he is just one of the few that posts his misfortunes. I feel bad for him, it'll probably take that shop 3 weeks to get the wheel stuff squared away.

why does the front tire need to come off for trans work?

Well...... it took 4 months for a trans warranty repair, so it would only go to say that they had the wheel off for no apparent reason.

I only post this stuff because it happens to all of us, I'm not afraid to show it, most are. Stuff happens, we fix it, we get back to driving. Simple as that. Roadkill shows it and the street outlaws podcast will talk about ruining a $7,000 transmission because they forgot to install 3 bolts... it happens.

The shop has no idea how this happened and had zero concern on if I was hurt. I kept calling them nearly everyday for 2 months to ask if they truck was done. Apparently, I'm still the a hole... something tells me this was done to hurt me, wouldn't be the first time someone wanted me dead. Muhahahaha

I'll see how it drives tomorrow after I buy some new lug nuts.

Bummer Dom. Did you hit the sign because of the wheel coming off?

crazy stuff. I have been 4 months trying to the dual tanks in my 1995 F-150 to switch frm front to rear, the rear tank keeps sending fuel to the front and overflowing.

No. It's just a strange photo. I never noticed this until you mentioned it.

Glad to hear you're ok. Is that a short bed w/ a topper or a Blazer? Either way I like it.
