My blend door actuator is broken. I want to do the quick fix shown in this video (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MrRW624N5LY) since I don't need heat. I can't figure out how to undo the air bag electrical connector though. What is the trick?

It is a simple connection in the back of the air bag. There are two hex nut head bolts that need to be removed on the bottom of the airbag, I accessed them through the glove compartment. I believe they are 10mm. You need to disconnect the battery and completely drain the voltage from the car when disconnecting an airbag IIRC. But the connector is just a snap together connector, need to squeeze one side and it will pull of.

Literally there are 2 quick clips on the back of the pass side airbag that hold the entire harness loop to the back of the bag.
I just undo those potato chip clips making the harness super long, then the airbag can rest on the top of the seat.
Ive done this a few times, that way the bag does not have to be unhooked.
Or just unplug it once you get the bag out a few inches away from the pins, fold down the glove box to get yer arm in there......

I must be dumb. This is what needs to be disconnected, right? I'm tried pushing on the sides and pulling, but no luck :mad2:

If that's the connection on the back of the air bag, then yes squeeze the grey popped up tab nearest the wires. Should lift the other end up away from the tab

There should be a latch on one on the long sides. Lift the latch and pull the connector apart.

Since it seems I'm the only one that struggled with the air bag, I persisted. I finally figured it out and replaced my blend door actuator.
If anyone needs to do this procedure in the future, I recommend following this video for a Crown Vic (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t3-OkGjG9qs) (Marauder's dont have screws holding the AC duct in place, so it's a little easier than the CV). Unlike any other guides I found, this guy breaks the actuator in half before removing the screws. When it's broken in half, it's much easier to reach the screws. You can remove every screw, including the one in the back.
Also, I found if I removed the radio and I crushed my hands, I could reach the front left screw with my thumb, which allowed me to guide the wrench.
