Photobucket changed its Terms of Service and now wants to charge $500 for hot linking pictures.
Anyone know of a more cost effective work around?

Yeah, I just got a notice from the a*$holes about them dumping ALL my 3rd party hosted pictures.
Then they go on to try and extort money from me to keep the pictures up.
Also you can pay them money to eliminate the advertising on their site!.....:mad2:

I have switched to Imgur.
You can download your Photobucket pictures back to your computer; log in, click 'Library', then scroll down and look on the right for a link that says 'Download Album' (or maybe it's just 'Download'). You'll download them as a ZIP file. Easy peasy.
Sucks that they nuked a ton of threads, but at least you get your pictures back.

http://i103.photobucket.com/albums/m155/turbov6bryan/3f39afd6.jpgI have a bunch on photobucket, but i hardly ever hotlink my pictures.
Couldnt you just keep the photobucket account with years and years of album work done, and if you want to hotlink a photo (say sig pictures) then just load that one pic to imugurrrr or who ever?
You should still be able to show friends a link to the album without paying right?

My pictures are blocked.
I have been avoiding PhotoBucket anyway because for the last year+ the site has been excruciatingly slowwwwwwww.
Looking forward to Photobucket going the way of MySpace!

Bryan, looking at the pic of your niece above: how many Regals/GNs have you owned and do you still have any? The '87 GN was the last good car Buick ever made. Of course, it was also the last correct-wheel drive car Buick ever made, too.

I am not a car dealer. I am a enthusiast! :)
That black car is my dads, we still have it. its whats called a WE4, black with black bumpers and grey interior. 1 of 1547 it was buicks light weight setup. It is TRULY the only car called a Turbo T
turbo injector downpipe metanol injection on all the turbo regals mod, its a nice car. We bought it back when people used to advertise in the news paper here lol!
Silver went to Iowa, it was my daily beater. Car would make 650 to the tire and i loved that car.
Green is still here too, i just pulled the buick drivetrain out 4 months ago and going LS or just sell it.
White Limited went to the north, up in canada.. Sold the 9K Turbo trans am too. They paid me over 30 grand for the pair.
Of the 20 plus 86-87 turbo regals ive personally owned.
I currently just have a 600+ horse blue limited that is fully decked out speed wise. Block girdle forged pistons, ported heads and all the goodies
A 86 GN 3 owner cream puff all stock, the sage green regal, a 87 charcoal T that will be sold... Chris Curless sat in it 30 days ago when he was in town... Gotta be worth more right?
Chris helped me sell my 68 firebird to one of his friends recently Thank you buddy! Thats why i changed my avatar to the daily driver.
Buicks are awesome cars, they need a lot of attention, but once lined out they run pretty good. Usually low 11s with the heads and intake never off.
I wished i had more money and more space, but ive been off work for over 3 years and sold off 7 cars this year alone. Its my choice.
Once all my cars are gone, i'll drive the 67 firebird dad bought in highschool. Marty might approve of this picture.

Ok, I noticed my signature pic was dead so went to PB to see what's up.
Yep, $40 month for the plan that allows 3rd party pic hosting.
I'll be changing. I might have paid $4 month but they are completely insane asking $480 year!!!
Anyone know if there is an import feature at other sources to transfer pics & posting url's?

I see that everyone's PhotoSucket pictures are now gone.
Lots of great threads are now useless without pictures!
I guess there is no easy way to repost all those pictures without spending hours and hours??
Can't wait for those ransom demanding F's to go out of business.
