I found a good substitute bypass hose for COT to thermostat since ours is discontinued. It looks like it won't fit as it has a double curve in it but it aligns perfectly with the COT and the thermostat. It is a Dayco 70897. Since I have a vortec it fits nicely as the bow in the middle provides more room for the tubes.

I've always found what I needed for all projects simply by walking into the back at any FLAPS. Might take some trimming here or there but like you mentioned Steve, sometimes you walk away with an even better fit.

That's exactly what I did, spent about 20 minutes looking over every hose. There were probably 5 that would have worked with a bit of trimming but this one ended up being perfect as is.
