I was leaving work today and saw this running down 15 mile road here in a suburb of Detroit. A new Bugatti Chiron. I knew where it was going so I went there to get a better look. Not everyday you get to see a "THREE MILLION DOLLAR CAR". The interior is beautiful. Must be nice to be rich.

BTW, if you look in the background you can see a new Bentley SUV and next to the Bugatti is a rare "Alfa 8C". This is a "Ferrari-Lambo" dealer. They have everything from "Rolls Royce's" to "Bentleys" to "Ferrari's". Next door is an "Aston Martin" dealer.

That looks like a test mule, it has the Manufacturer "M" plate.

I'll probably never even sit in one but I'm sure it is an absolute incredible car. But that car just doesn't do it for me. As great of a car as it is there are others I'd much rather have.

I think they're kinda funny-looking and I definitely believe anyone who buys one has more money than brains. Considering that a set of tires is $35,000 and they need replacing every 2500 miles (which can only be done at the factory), and a new set of wheels at $50,000 every 10,000 miles...plus the $20,000 for annual check-up and oil change...

Yeah. No.

Money is not an issue for the buyer of these cars, though I bet neither is driving one. I bet very few of them will even need a tire change let alone a wheel change, they just won't be driven much. And, if you are paying $3mm for a car $20k is the equivalent of a two dollar bill to us.

Yeah, I realise if one can afford to buy a car like that money means nothing, but I just wanted to illustrate that even if given one for free, few of us could afford the operating costs alone.

So, so true.

I'd say I have easily gotten $37,000 of enjoyment out of my Merc. I am not entirely sure I can justify a $3M vehicle. I just don't see the allure. I think it's around $30,000 for tires for this.

Very cool spot! I think those have 8 radiators. First one was 1001 HP and now I think they have 1200. Stock.

You must respect an OEM car with 1500 HP.

Because of the incredible forces and heat generated at close to 300 MPH, the rims & tires do not last very long.
When you replace them the Bugatti dealer also flushes your wallet for free.

:hmmm:
I wonder what they do with the 'spent' rims....?
