For those who have them, do you like them?

I just got a set and installing them here soon. Was told they will really wake the car up.

dont you have a grand marquis? if so, you have 2.73 so a 3.73 will wake it up. Marauders have 3.55, so 3.73 is hardly a change.

I have had 4:10s, 4:30s, and now 3:73s. I put the 3:73s in after stroking the engine and porting the S/C. So far, I have run my best times ever with them. Yes. I like them.

I have 4.10 and when it was an auto I felt they were perfect. But I came from 3.55 so 3.73 would have been a small change. Now with the manual they are too low. I wish I had 3.73s

When I was N/A I wish I went 4.30's but with a centri 4.10s are good.

I have the 4.10 in a 5.4 Stroker.
I love the feel when you hit the gas. The MPG isn't that bad.

Your file says you have a Marauder. If it's not S/C'd go for the 4.10's. 3.73's won't impress you much over the 3.55's.

If you were doing an Eaton swap on a 5 speed Marauder, would you choose 3.55 or 3.73?
Long tubes 11psi n stuff.

Depends on many different factors. What's the gearing in the transmission? Perhaps a 3.31 or even a 3.08 might be the best choice. You want to make sure all the gears are usable. 4th and 5th being your 1:1 and O/D you really need to match 1,2 and 3 to the whole package to get the most out of it. Sounds like a cop out answer but the whole drive line needs to work together or your not going to get a complete package. IE. the Dodge SRT...any of them. Most reviews say to get the best 1/4 mile times you need to start out in 2nd to control wheel spin. On the other hand from a 20mph roll the SRT's are to be taken seriously. There is probably a YouTube video or a web site somewhere that can explain how to go about choosing what set of gear ratios for the trans, axles, what tq convertor to use depending on HP, Tq, tire size, use, etc.:)

If your NA I'd go with 4.10's. You'll be sorry if you go with 3.73's as it's not much of an upgrade from 3.55's.

Agreed !! 3.73/3.55 = 1.05 (a 5% difference). You will hardly even notice the slight change. The 4.10/3.55 = 1.15 (a 15% difference) that you will feel in the seat.

What they said^^^ Going to 3.73 from 3.55 will not even be noticeable and definitely not worth the money. Go 4.10 or go home...

Mr. Steven Babcock, the Marauder Program Manager has said the car was originally designed to have 4.10s from the factory, but he received pushback because of cost / gas guzzler concerns.

Think about this. Going from 3.55 to 3.73 gears is only a 5% change. I doubt you'd even notice the change.
Going from 3.55 to 4.10 gears is a 13.4% change.
I think the RPM difference at 60 MPH between 3.55's and 4.10 is about 200 RPM? I think there is a sticky somewhere on this.
One revolution of the rear wheel = 3.55 or 3.73 or 4.10 revolutions of the drive shaft.

Correct, the engine will turn 200 RPM more at 70 MPH. You will get 1 - 2MPG less.
