Hurricane Irma Warning

I post this because preparations take time and the National Hurricane center
has refined it's projected path.

looking at the Hurricane warning projection for "Irma". the storm seems to be making a bee line to the gulf of Mexico by running over Cuba and southern Florida packing 115 MPH winds.

Should arrive in about six days.

I see revised track has it staying south. good news for me not good news for the fla. keys. I grew up in Marathon Most of my friends are there, boatmangc is in big pine. They are use to the drill . Hope they don't get hit. No one from east coast to Texas should not follow Irma. Models/forecast can and most likely will change a lot in next 5 days

At this moment Irma has reach level 5 and is coming closer to Puerto Rico as I see P.R. Will be hit by the Hurricane pray for us as we pray for Texas because many people here will die

Hunker down good buddy, this one may change the map, 180 MPH winds, that's tornado wind speeds. You may not have internet after Irma hits.

yea 160 mph going thru keys serious over reaction people in center of the state don't have a clue!

I live in Lee County and have spent the last 2 days putting shutters on and removing anything I don't want to leave my yard at 100MPH. The cars are in the garage. The Merc is getting a car cover, several blankets and comforters, a few moving blankets, and I might put it a foot off the ground. The garage door is braced with pressure treated fence posts and my Taurus backed up to it on the inside.
