My nerd buddies on the tbird forums figured this out.

If you open a post and add ~original after the file type and before [/IMG]

example, you have your address between the img tags. you would put the "~original" between the .jpeg and [/img] like picaddress.jpeg~original[/img] then your pics will show up.

enjoy fixing stuff u want.

My Firefox is up to date & still can't see PB pics.

Given PB wants to be paid, I don't see a browser plugin "fixing" the issue and they'll counter any hack done.

I hope I'm wrong, someone tell me how to see my pics again!

It's not inherent to Firefox or chrome...it's a 3rd party plug in...you have to add it. Google Mozilla photobucket add on and you should find it. I've been using the chrome version and works great.

One example

How long before Photobucket figures this workaround out and disables it too?

Never liked Photobucket, I'm still using good old Supermotors. Their system so old it takes a while to do things but it still works!

That's what I referred to.

They want $ now that they think they have everyone hooked. Unfortunately they WAY overestimate the value! 2 or 4 bucks a month I might pay - $400 year = no bloody way!

Manually insert ~orinal before the [\img] tag.

Manually insert ~orinal before the [\img] tag.

I checked on that but I think I post pics differently. I use a URL and there is no [\img] tag. Unless I'm misinterpreting the instructions...

Post a link in a post in this thread. Let me test it.

Figured it out, there is no tag with the URL but just add the after the .jpg
