I hope all of our Florida members are spared from the worst of Hurricane Irma. Please post up and let us know your status when you are able.

I have a friend who decided to ride it out in Cape Coral...I'll be nervous for the next few days.

Stay safe, folks.

Please Lord, let this monster blow out to sea. Protect all our friends from harm. Protect our first responders as they go out to assist the citizens of Pineallas County. Prayers do work . I believe in miracles. We need a miracle now.

Irmas wrath has been with us all day. Tonight is going to be rough. I'm not looking forward to it.

Just checking in.

Power was out for a little over 30 hours. Not too bad from what I hear from other reports.
Lost 2 trees in the backyard, but we got our health here and that's all that matters.

Still without power, FPL states by Sunday night power would be back on. Palm Beach County has a lot of people without power. Just came back from the road. I miss air conditioning.

We had a "Hair Raising & Whitening" Tidal Surge on top of an 8.6 foot High Tide.......we were on pins and needles watching our dock being flooded, torrential rain and 50-80 MPH winds.......UGH!!:(

When it all subsided we were frazzled but all was OK.....haven't run the boat lift yet but will tomorrow......got the dock cleaned off today!!
