Announcers were having fun with it.:)

Went a little to high on the 1-2 shift on the 2nd run so it slowed a little. Had a better 60'on the 2nd run to.

Yup new best by .03 was hoping for a 9.9x but just wasn't in the cards.

The MPH was encouraging with the converter locking properly.

At what point is a roll cage, battery cutoff, and all that stuff required?

A roll bar is required at 11.49

A roll cage is required at 9.99 or 135 mph.

I suggest you get a cage and then the added weight will keep you from going sub-10. At least for a little while.

That's pretty awesome for a 281 engine and a 3.4 Whipple. I wonder if the name Moonshine is already reserved on the DMV database. I do 12s is now a joke and very misleading. :)
