I bought the Lethal Performance, (https://www.lethalperformance.com/divisionx-sn95-dual-return-style-fuel-hat-manifold-46610.html)DIVISIONX GEN 3 99-04 MUSTANG DUAL PUMP RETURN STYLE FUEL HAT MANIFOLD (https://www.lethalperformance.com/divisionx-sn95-dual-return-style-fuel-hat-manifold-46610.html). The fuel hat needed some modification to mount the two Walbro fuel pumps to the fuel hat and a 90 degree orientation change to work with my fuel tank. So, KC created a CAD program for two adapter pieces: y-connector and a connecting arm to mount the two Walbro fuel pumps. Using BRG Racing's 3D printer prototype parts were printed. After a few iterations, the final plastic parts were done.

KC's son attends CalPoly and was awarded a Haas Foundation (http://ghaasfoundation.org/) scholarship for mechanical engineering at CalPoly. KC’s son refined his dad's CAD program and, using BRG Racing's 3D printer, made the following parts for mounting the two Walbro fuel pumps to the hat.

Next came turning plastic into 1606 billet aluminum parts from BRG Racing's CnC machine.

What's the cost on this? I'm interested.

Like the Mishimoto radiator and oil cooler mounting kits or Brembo brake kit (18" and 20" wheels), I honestly do not know. My costs are very high, as I am covering R&D. But, you know who to contact.

Several local Marauder owners have bought and installed the Mishimoto radiator and oil cooler on their own and then the BRG Racing associated mounting kits. I posted a thread on the subject several months back. Lifespeed get his for free for all the help he has provided to my JRi suspension issues.

On your own, you buy:
1. Lethal Performance, (https://www.lethalperformance.com/divisionx-sn95-dual-return-style-fuel-hat-manifold-46610.html)DIVISIONX GEN 3 99-04 MUSTANG DUAL PUMP RETURN STYLE FUEL HAT MANIFOLD (https://www.lethalperformance.com/divisionx-sn95-dual-return-style-fuel-hat-manifold-46610.html) and specify the extras. The unit starts at $399.00. But, with options can get to $800 quickly.

This is shaping up to be the first 200,000 dollar Marauder.

What's the tuition at Cal Poly?

That's silly.

Nice looking unit. (TWSS :D)

My nephew attends Cal Poly as well. Something to do with landscape engineering. Had a couple of job offers before he finished his first year of school.

You are indirectly paying his tuition through all of these expensive one off projects.

Just for this fuel pump and bracket, what is the total amount paid by you from start to finish? 2500? 3500? 5000?

He wants one off, best of the best custom everything. A 6 figure expense? I'm sure of that, and on a car that was worth less than $10k before it was all started. To each his own. Plenty here have spent over $50k.

The worst part is if he ever has an issue with it on the road..no one will know wtf to do with it so he better figure in a tow expense to tote back.

He'll prolly never be able to insure it for what he has in it as I don't see hagerty etc..agreeing to a agreed value price for the expense paid.

Good to know The Mod Madness is contagious.

In my ride breaks down, only BRG Racing will touch it - flat bed tow truck it is.

Hagerty nor anyone else will ensure the Marauder. They do not consider it 'a classic' and I drive it. So, Farmers to an X level is all I got. If I wreck the car, I will buy the best Marauder I can find and move all the parts over. Should only cost another small fortune.

Hagerty, grundy WILL insure a marauder, plenty here have it thru them..

Unless you are planning to send me PayPal monies to share the R&D costs, you do not need to know what I paid. Same for Brembo brake kits, JRi (or similar products) coilovers, motor mounts, Mishimoto radiator and oil cooler mounting kits, etc..

I share what I have done and is available in hopes other members who want to pursue the same approach may benefit. I do not have the skill to build such things myself (like so many of you possess):
* Zach built my badless grille (it is gorgeous)
* Fastblackmerc provided me my LED kits and EATC module
* and so many more...

The last date to pick up my Marauder with natural aspiration (no blower or JRi) was two weeks ago. The purpose was to pass CA Smog, re-register the car with DMV and break-in the motor for 3000 miles.

In fairness, two senior level engine specialists have been out (one ill; one vacation) for the last two weeks. I expect to collect my care by 10/06. However, so many deadlines have come and gone,.............
