Hi all, the 03 mm just stopped running last night, we had a spare fuel rail pressure regulator and tried the and no luck. We also went to two local u pull parts and got two fpdm, neither fixed the issue. We are certain the pumps are running as you can hear them but no pressure at the rail. We are going to replace the filter, the car starts and immediately dies. Any additional suggestions greatly appreciated thanks.

Even though you hear the pump come on doesn't mean it is working properly. I would start there.

Yes, two valid points tbone and merc. We will be trying to drain the tank so we can get the hat out. He’s got the 03 cobra pumps in there now and gt500 pumps on the bench. The roll over switch I’ve not heard of going out but it’s worth a shot.

The line blew off in the tank.

Or.....if you installed a check valve of any sort, it has failed. I know this because it happened to me

Thanks Zack, that’s our next step after work, pull the hat and see.

Well that’s what it was. Proper tubing and high pressure hose clamps, everything looks great, besides the hose came off one of the pumps outlet nippy. What is the best connection and is that the tell tail of needing to change the filter?

Thank you

The problem is: most pump inlets are smaller than the diameter of the fuel line. You need to install a small piece of line over the inlet, then shave it down with a blade until the hose slides snugly over it. A bushing of sorts.....

This^^

5/16" inlet - 3/8" hose makes no sense. Homemade rubber bushing FTW.
