Just received my new Motorcraft COPS.
I ordered the Ford racing M12029-4v coil set of 8.
I paid $247.47 ($30.94ea) from Amazon , NO tax, NO shipping.
individual part number: 4LZ7-12029-AB OR DG543.
individually, Amazon is about $40ea.

I know I had 2 cops go bad. (218,000 miles).
I was able to replace 1 COP last week.
It helped a lot with the bucking/hesitating from the mis-fire.
I'm going to replace all 8 tomorrow and keep the old one's as
back-ups. The dealer charges about $70 for 1 oem unit..

That’s a good deal, thanks for sharing the info and part number.

My OEM ones still seem to be going strong at 114K. I got the granatelli solid coil connectors a few years back, but can’t say if they improved anything.

How hard is it to replace these?

It's stupid-simple. Remove the coil covers, unplug the connectors and the COPs pull right out. Might have to twist a little if they've been on for very long. Put a dab of silicone dielectric grease in the spark-plug end of the new boot.
