Is this the preferred filter of choice for the JLT intake?

Sure looks like it. My old JLT came with the S&B 9” red cone filter. Not sure if this is that exact one, but it looks the same to me. Dimensions are right.

I also have the same filter on my PHP airbox. Great quality.

That’s cool, mine doesn’t have the polished top, but has plastic and filter material on the end. I use an Outerwears per-filter cover over mine.

I always clean, oil, let sit in the sun for an hour, then carefully blot any excess with a blue shop towel. Then I clean the throttle body and spray the MAF with cleaner. No MAF issues so far.

Interesting; the closest I can find to my S&B 9” is the model 21-3059DK at about $60. It’s a red cone type filter, but with the end sealed, 4” x 9.25”. With the spray cleaner you’re at $72.

I don’t know, if it ain’t broke...! Cleaning and oiling mine at every 15k is no big deal. I figure I have enough S&B cleaner and oil for another 100k at least.

Thanks for the link though.

I've never had problems with the oiled filters either. I'm gonna go ahead an order the S&B.
