I worked with fella in the 70's that when the pressures of married life got to be too much he would retreat to a "secret" apartment for a period of time until he could cope again. No hanky panky involved, just needed to escape for a while. His wife knew about this and accepted it. Seems to have worked out for both of them. No kid's involved, that's a different kettle of fish.

Silverback and I just go cruising for a few hours now and then. Some people go fishing.

Good for him! One of the reasons I’ve put in somewhere around 8000 hours of unpaid overtime in the past 25 years. When I do get home I take off in the car with the dog.

(Thank God for the dog is all I can say or me and my MM would be at the bottom of the Pacific.)

I just need a time machine or a lousy $250K to fix things. Alaska sounds nice.

LOL! He had the right idea, just needed to score a lot more money and then get away with it. But, on the other hand, good plan, he thought he would get away from her either way. [emoji4]
Too bad the courts gave him the worst sentence possible!
