What is a xcal3 worth these days? Status says unmarried/unlocked. Yeah, I know this isn't ebay I was just wondering if it was worthwhile to try and sell it here or not.

If MartyO can still work with an X3 it's still got value here.
As far as what that value is, Idunno.

I see unmarried/unlocked ones go for anywhere from $150-225. I believe I paid like $180 for the last one I bought.

$150-$200

There is a fair demand fir them in the CV community.

So I've been using an Xcal2 with my car, occasionally anyway primaily to read and/or clear a code. I use a chip instead of a flash tune. Should I switch over to the Xcal3 or stick with what I've got and sell the X3? What are the benefits of one over the other? What is the X2 worth?

I don’t think there is much of a market for X2s, if any.

The SCT X4 looks interesting. Part number 7015 offers preloaded 2004 Marauder tunes? Description states that custom tunes can be loaded too. What are the pitfalls as I've had little experience with these devices. I currently have a Superchips tuner for my '05 Mustang that can only be used with that particular car(?). Superchips stated they would give me a credit toward the purchase of a new device after receiving my current device as it can't be upgraded. I'm guessing that SCT is an abbreviation for Superchips Tuners?

Dont use SCT tunes..they were not created from a Marauder, they are revised mustang tunes which is an 800 lb difference. Marty at MO's can provide you with a tune on SCT xcal4..Believe all of us, it's worth the money for his tune. Marty can also do up your 05 mustang with a better tune.
