Had a semi catastrophic failure with the original Circle D torque convertor, bought in 09', while it had low miles (4k), it had 8 years on it, the trans was built at the same time by Darrin @ BC Automotive.
Fast forward to 6 weeks ago, convertor split at the weld @ 6400 in 2nd gear, dumped 13qts of fluid, ate the flexplate, trans front pump, input shaft, front hub, forward clutches all killed.
Darrin @ BC "rebuilt" the trans for the cost of the parts, nearly nothing, I dropped the trans off and picked it up a week later.
Circle D stood behind their convertor that was 8 years old, and paid the shipping, for both the old and new convertors.
BOTH, stand up vendors to deal with, especially in the world of performance parts, where warranty's are almost never heard of.
Cars back together, trans got a few updates, convertor got upgraded, win-win.
