I've had several inquiries regarding this High Stall converter.
I'm trying to verify the OEM flexplate/torque converter's bolt pattern.
Does anyone know, or does anyone have an OEM converter for the measurements?

My builder is pretty certain he can make it work. Could I purchase a different flexplate and make this TC work with the OEM one? Or will this only work with an 8 bolt pattern?

The '8 bolt' only refers to attaching the flexplate to the forged Cobra 8 bolt crank.
Check my pictures above and the center of the blue SFI flexplate has 8 bolt holes where it bolts to the crank.
My concern is the 4 bolt pattern that the smaller 9.5" Art Carr converter has vs 11.25" OEM converter when bolting it to the flexplate.
You can see the 4 bolt pattern near the outer edge of the flexplate.
I put red paint on the Art Carr's 4 mounting bolts.
