It has been a long time. Life took control my business and hobby.
I want say “Happy Holidays” to everyone!
Also wanted to mention that I purchased brand new
2003 Mercury Marauder with 89 Miles. That is right, 89 Miles. I bought it from an estate. It has the plastic on the seats, steering wheel.
I will be selling it shortly. The owner removed the body from the chassis, so it need to be put back together. All the Of parts are original and I have them all. I will post pictures sometime this week.
I also have sets of tires, bumper covers, wheels, etc. the engine is new, 89miles.
I hope everyone is doing well. A big part of my life was the Mercury Marauder community which I enjoyed for many years.
Happy Holidays!!

And why did they take the body off the chassis???
The guy that owned it was going to put a Terminator motor and trans in the car, but did not finish. He pulled the body off to work on installing the new POWERTRAIN then passed away. Very unfortunate. I knew his brother. The car is brand new.

I don’t know who you are, but I really don’t appreciate the message you are conveying about me taking advantage of the situation. So, not that it is any of your business, but here are the facts.
1. I was offered the car and the parts by a friend of mine and I declined several times. I already have two of the best known Marauders around and I did not need a third one.
2. There is a fair amount of risk involved when you buy something that is all apart and you don’t have any idea of what is missing from several boxes, garages, basement locations....
3. Yes, the parts looked like they were very valuable on face value, but again there was a big risk also.
4. This car and the parts were offered to several other people and they turned it down. If it was that great a deal, someone else would have taken the car before me.
5. I made a cash offer, which no one else offered, and she took it. If she did not want my offer she could have told me “no thanks”.
6. She was trying to get rid of an increble amount of parts and cars because she did not want them and she was paying for storage that was very expensive.
Anyone else could have made an offer...anyone else could have gotten off their ass and made several trips over to the garages and sifted through the parts...anyone else could have put their money where their mouth was and jumped on the deal..... but no one else did. Was it a good deal in retrospect? Yes, but it came with risks. I am missing several expensive parts like the ABS unit that I had to spend $600 for and there and several more parts I am trying to find.
My advise to you is get the facts before you make irresponsible statements about someone else’s business.

There's a lot of truth to this statement. Hindsight is easy to see afterwards.
I had to deal with my fathers car collection and looking back on it I probably sold several cars for less than what I could have sold them for. Same for lots of parts. Sometimes it's easier to sell cheaper and be done with it. Nothing wrong with that.

Out of curiosity, Jerry do you own the black marauder with the ground effects? Does it have a price tag? Everytime I google that marauder, I drool all over it.
Those front and rear fascia’s on my Marauders are custom made from fiberglass. They were designed by Ford Design Studio when we were preparing the Marauder for the SEMA Show. They are the only ones that exist. I throw the molded out a couple of years ago. Many people have asked that I reproduce them for sale. The problems were:
1. The front and rear fascia’s were NOT BUMPERS! We removed the shocks in the stock bumper system to get that tight look for the body. If you have an accident, you’re screwed.
2. If we could reproduce them, it would have cost $6,000 a set. No body wanted to pay that much for fascia’s.
3. The tooling was extremely expensive. We are a small company and the risk would have been high for a low volume product. Not a good business decision.
I hope you understand our view on this business investment. It just was not worth it!
I hope that helps.

So, let’s move on without calling each other out in a social media forum. I have been there and it is not productive for either side. Agreed?

1. The front and rear fascia’s were NOT BUMPERS! We removed the shocks in the stock bumper system to get that tight look for the body. If you have an accident, you’re screwed.
Thanks for that, Jerry. I never knew they were "faux" bumpers.
BTW, #61 says "Hi, Dad!"

Slim, it is great hearing from you. Sorry to hear about your Mother and your heart surgery. Jesus, it sounds like you have been through a lot. If you have time please give me a call and let’s have lunch. I have moved the office to a new location in Redford, but it is not far from the old shop.
Call me (248)877-2792.
Jerry
Will do Jerry. I am on midnights. I will call you and set something up on one of my off days.

At least someone will make a bunch of money on this marauder. Just won't be the women who sold it. I just think it's kind of sad to take advantage of a situation.
Then giver her some $$$, in the Holiday Spirit!:D

Hey buddy!
Missing you .
Finally put a built Cobra motor in #93
Only took three years letting it sit waiting.
Retired now , so I have more time than money!

Twin Screw #12 checking in Dad.
Glad to see an enthusiast got the car and parts, congrats.
Hi Jerry, I’m a relatively new Marauder owner, But I know that you and your Trilogy supercharger are legends among the Marauder community! To me it’s a shame that there were only 250 units made. Is there any chance you might consider another production run for us newer owners?

Totally this ^^^
I spent years racing LowbuckMM with my old Trilogy kit against his 100 shot. Every time I achieved a lower ET he was right there nipping at my heels only a couple tenths away from taking me... plus his 1.72 60’ to my best ever 1.78 IIRC!
Look at this pic from 2010 and notice his front end to mine in the background. Nitrous is hands down the cheapest way to make BIG power. Plus a 100 shot will achieve 93 HP and 170 TQ!!!

Hmm. Maybe I should just go nitrous since I don’t really want to spend the money on a new F1 or try and get mine fixed..
