Yahoo reports the critics panned it, but the viewers give it a thumbs up.

I gave it a thumbs up before I read any reviews but I differ from some family members. I think you have to stay with it. Check it out.

On the other hand the critics gave Star Wars, The Last Jedi, a "'must see" whereas I almost walked out of the theater, except I had too much pop corn left.

I watched it.

No where near as good as most Will Smith movies in the past.

Not much character building at the beginning of the movie, you are just plopped into the middle of the flick

I found it boring

It could have been much better. The trailer made it seem like a mix of Bad Boys and Men in Black.

It had a stereotypical plot line of two cops who don't like eachother being brought together by some crazy event, but overall I thought it was cool.

Not real good, not real bad, in the long run though...forgettable.

Watched about 30 minutes and turned it off. Not a good movie at all.

Sun Times - "By the time Will Smith barks that line with 100 percent urgency and sincerity in the mindboggling mess that is “Bright,” it’s clear we are watching a truly terrible, mountainous pile of genre-blending garbage.

You see, Elf Town is where the Elf People live in the parallel universe of David Ayers’ “Bright,” reportedly the most expensive (some $90 million) Netflix original movie to date."

I just about killed it, but once I started figuring out a few things I stuck with it. Like someone else said, i seemed to just plop you into the movie at the beginning.

I just watched this tonight and didn't really enjoy it. High fantasy and buddy cop films just don't seem to mix well.
