I was on my way to get my struts and shocks installed,
The temps were -8* , my girlfriend went out to start the car and turn on my bun warmers.
Her observation was a difficulty to get the car [emoji93] ted
The fuel guage showed a third, I wanted to fill it, because of the tremendously extremely cold weather and travel time.

It took a bit to warm up , so I broke my rules and kept it running while I refueled.
I noticed that the right front tire , looked a tiny bit low.
I had a complete change of mind on the sixty mile journey due to a bad feeling.

I got a block from the apartment complex, the car blew that left front tire.

I was able to nurse it back , completely flat.
I have a full size spare 225/60/16.
It is 3* now and I don't have to go anywhere.
As much as,
I want to feel bad about the event ,
I was grateful that I didn't get on the Expressway , and headed home instead.
Should have been more proactive on replacement of the tires.

If I asked my wife of 40+ years to go out and start my car in below zero weather she would kick me dead in the nuts, no ifs, ands or buts about it.

After 40yrs you shouldn't have to ask....

Just tell her to:lol:
