My 2004 CVLX recently start to present apparently an electrical issue, the battery light begin to go on for a few seconds and then go off and the volt indicator start to raise and low I take the Panther to the electro-mechanical and he said that may be the voltage regulator of the alternator so I made the decision to replace the existing one for a new one and also replace the battery but the most confusing part is that still making the same issue so go with another expert and he made the tests and the system is charging well, opinions and suggestions please

Fully charge the battery using a smart charger (Battery Tender, etc.) before proceeding any further. Load Test the fully charged battery. If it tests ok then test the charging system. If charging system tests ok then just live with the flickering indicator lamps. No 'rocket science' involved.

How old is your Battery'?

How clean are the connectors at each terminal?

Has anyone touched the e lecture all system in any way before me this started? (New alarm, new stereo, etc)

Check all the grounds & positive connections in the engine compartment. Make sure they are clean and tight.

There is a reason it's doing that. You should be able to fix it and not have to "live with it".

Although the Panther is CVLX and not a Police Interceptor I replace the OEM alternator for a police one (200 amps) and never had an issue it work Optimus until now
