Excellent eye. Didn’t the concept Marauder at the auto show have this bumper? Is this the car?

91 miles but the 1st pic of the rear, you can see swirl and buff marks galore in the trunk lid edge.

The bumpers were removed and the body was put on a pallet. Can only assume that they did it for motor swap. Just look at the pictures That are on this site

Something doesn’t sound right here. So what the body had 91 miles but the frame came from something else? Since when is it necessary to remove
the body for a motor swap? All sounds very strange. Even more interesting none of that is mentioned in the sales ad...

the original owner bought it, put it in his garage, pulled the body off the frame, put in a cobra motor and stopped assuming health reasons. Jerry Barnes, owner of Trilogy made an offer and bought tbe lot of car, motor. bumpers, wheels etc. put the original motor back in and body on car. No, it was not mentioned but there are pics of it how it was when he got it. the car has plastic of seats, carpet, cardboard tubes over megs tips just like it came off truck

Thank you for sharing!!! I’m still curious what the hell his reasoning for pulling the body off was????? I can understand a “body off” restoration but why buy a brand new car and pull the entire body off to install a cobra motor. So strange!! None the less she is still “in the wrapper!”

Very nice to have the man who brought us the Trilogy S/C here.
Welcome back!
And why did they take the body off the chassis???
The guy that owned it was going to put a Terminator motor and trans in the car, but did not finish. He pulled the body off to work on installing the new POWERTRAIN then passed away. Very unfortunate. I knew his brother. The car is brand new.
