Selling my Remote Mount Oil Filter/AccuSump Set-up.
I built it because my Marauder was not a daily driver and I hated to listen to that awful mechanical clattering upon first firing up the DOHC.
Plus the OEM start up function had that 'over-rev' when the engine first fired!
I would activate the AccuSump a split second before firing up the engine.... and an instantaneous 75 psi of oil pressure made the DOHC fire up with no noise, no clattering.
It sounded like it had been warmed up for 15 minutes even when it was stone cold!
Includes:
1 Qt. Accusump Pre-Luber/Oil Reservoir
with AccuSump mounting brackets and Pressure Gauge
Canton Block adapter with mounting bolt
Canton billet Remote Mount Oil Filter Adapter (Takes the nice, big FL-1A filter!)
Electric Selenoid for controlling the AccuSump.
Aeroquip -08 A/N fittings with Aeroquip StarLite hoses.
Note: I had the Canton Oil Filter Adapter mounted on the inner surface of the driver's side frame rail, very close to the OEM Oil Filter location.
I cut off the driver's side 'assembly line transport bracket' that is tack welded to the inner frame on both sides of the Panther vehicles.
FL-1A Oil Filter sat in a vertical orientation so it was always full of oil.
Made oil changes a breeze!
Cost me well north of $600 for all the goodies.
$350.00 shipped in the Continental US.
