Datalogging my new engine with my Xcal3, and my FPDC shows 0.49 at WOT higher rpm. Is this 49% or 98%? I've read both on different forums, and I'm not sure how to confirm. The air fuel ratio is fine and doesn't go lean or anything.

The fuel pump is a replacement stocker, but the part number comes back to what is possibly the focus pump. The engine is NA, flat top pistons 11:1, kooks headers, and 99 cobra cams. I would estimate 375hp, so it's nothing crazy.

MartyO has been THE MAN with tuning this thing remotely and I'd rather not keep bugging him this weekend.

Don’t beat in the car.

Call me Monday.

Check your fuel filter also in the meantime.

I’ve always read 49% as 100% because I’ve yet to see anything read higher with a bad pump.

That's not wheel HP or anything, just crank it's nothing crazy like you supercharged guys.

Marty,

Ok will do. I will put one of those 3 inch filters on while I'm in there and remove those 90 degree ends. I just put a new fuel pump in a few months ago. The car will not see WOT again until that's done.

Update: I installed an aeromotive 340 in the car and my duty cycle went down to 75% at Max rpm. Even with 11 volts in the system at WOT...

I understand the car shuts the alternator off at WOT, but I would think I would see 12-12.6v not 11. The battery is 8 months old. I believe the factory grounds to be inadequate, and I was also thinking about adding thicker gauge wires from the alternator as well. What are your thoughts and experiences with this?

I just did this last night I ran four gauge high strand speaker wire from alternator to battery, fuse panel to battery, battery to Fender, battery to block..

I color coded the battery cable ends in heat shrink tubing to match the color of the terminal ends..... I believe it's called the big 3 upgrade, yet it's 4 wires 😂

i always ramp the voltage up at WOT, on my marauder I get over 14v at WOT just for a little safety so i won't have as much of a voltage drop
