I don’t agree with his speeding, but I’m wondering if it was really an active work zone?? Indiana and Ohio love to have 10 miles of active work zones with nothing happening.

In Illinois a work zone is a work zone and the work zone posted speed limit is what it is regardless if there is work being performed or not.

Sent from the White House on the tax payers dime.

Some States require work being done or the signs are laid down and it has reduced the "work zone" accident rate.

First off; 120 mph is crazy, stupid fast, regardless of whether it was a 'work zone' or not.

I agree, as I see wayyyy too many speed traps along 'dead'/ off hours / nobody there 'work zones'.

Or the opposite like NYS that has one guy digging a hole with a spoon while 20 other guys smoke cigarettes, lean on their shovels and watch for 17 years.

There....fixed it for ya!
