Or clock of shame.. [emoji22]
Whatev’s [emoji6]
I scrounged up some old busted up parts and made a clock. LOL Just a subtle reminder of what it took to achieve a goal or three..
Parts required:
Clock kit
3/4’s or so of 4.30’s
Most of a secondary tensioner
2 piece Intake cam gear
2 Custom pre bent Manley intake valves
1 AA battery
Good thing I only picked from a couple of shelves or this thing would be REALLY heavy!

You are the Self Proclaimed Builder of Bad Assness. You've managed to take a clock and make it Bad Ass. It also looks like you have a better wife then I do. Mine doesn't allow car parts in the kitchen anymore.

Cool!
I should start doing stuff like this and selling them.
Probably make more on this than the actual repairs.

Cool, the mind set and the skill of some people amazes me.

Someone has to keep you in line, and we'll take her side every time, lol.

Thanks everyone! I would give it away but having bought the clock guts like three years ago and constantly moving them out of harms way in the garage and finally finding the time to “make the time” would be just plain idiotic at this point.. It will make for a good desk clock.
As for the microwave Eric... Melanie has been trying to persuade me for years to get an over the range type but I simply put too much time and money in designing my cherry kitchen ten years ago and I just can’t part with what’s there now. If I could it would be changed to a stainless and glass vent anyways.. Forgive the mess, no one but me ever dusts and I’m lazy anymore! Also never mind the cheap azz range. I went back to bare bones after I sold my 1 1/2 year old $2,300 POS Jenn-Air slide in on craigslist for $100.. Three burnt circuit boards in its first year and they had the nerve to make getting warranty parts hard to get. Asshats.

My brother is going to make a $7,000 coffee table out of my split block DOHC.
He is going to have 4 rods and pistons sticking out of the end bores to support a glass top. The glass top will also rest on the flat machined pads on top of the block.
We'll have to (literally) drop the sleeves back into #1 & #2 bores so we can weld the rods to the sleeves.

Over the range space saver B/I micro is a good idea on paper but living with one sucks especially if you are short or have arm/wrist/hand pain/weakness. Having to lift big bowls/stuff up so high and reach it in and out of the micro = not good.
Sorry fir the hijack Bobby! :D

What's wrong with it.
The #1 & #2 sleeves became part of the reciprocating assembly once the block split between the 2 bores.
