2004 marauder with 111k miles
2 owner car. Current owner has owned about 6 years
Clean Carfax-no accidents
He said it’s a little boggy when going uphill only-said it needs ignition coils?
All stock- no mods
Does the rust on the underside look like any major concern?
Am I taking too much of a risk buying sight unseen? My instincts tell me it’s a safe buy for some reason though after talking with the seller

That ain't rust. My 2004 GMQ has WAY more rust than that.
I'd say it's a good deal...puff of smoke on start-up after sitting is very common and affects nothing.
Do you know where in MA? I might be able to look at it for you.

That car was on ebay a few times, the owner who took those pictures is ON THIS WEBSITE.
I am not sure if he sold it through ebay, but it was relisted a few times, probably dead beat buyers.
I would pm crispy23c and make sure he still owns the car, just to make sure someone isnt trying to sell something they dont own.
I actually thought about buying it, its a really nice car, i talked with him about the car and it sounds like a pretty decent deal IMHO.

Even with some imperfections, that price obo with those miles for a silver birch is a great deal man.

Anyone who thinks that’s typical “east coast” rust is not from the east coast. That thing is clean!!!

Agreed. That SB Marauder looks great. And the engine doesn't look as if it's ever been messed with. Even the radiator shroud still has its plastic push rivets. Nice. That two-tone interior is nice. Wish I had those seat heaters and traction control switch in my '03.

I’m in the process of finding a shipping company. This can be very stressful and the reviews of most of these companies are crazy.
From my understanding they are all brokers and once they get your deposit they find you a carrier. The broker will post a price and if the carrier agrees they will pick it up but it seams as if every time they quote you a price they will go up on it because they will tell you the driver wants more to move the vehichle. This is what I’m seeing from reviews.
One company just told me that with the marauders length that this is going to count as two cars so I have to pay for two spots on the truck. I told them that this is the first time I heard that after talking with other brokers and they said that other companies should have disclosed that to me.
Anybody have a good experience with a reputable company? Shipping is probably gonna cost me more than I thought

It’s in New Hampshire, Massachusetts and I’m in Michigan. I just don’t really have the time for that with my schedule but worst case scenario I would fly out there and drive it back but don’t think that’s going to be happening

I bought a car off this site last feb. I was able to get my car in 3 days with these folks.
1 car spot 600 bucks from houston texas to kansas city.
The driver upped the $$ 50 bucks when he said he could pick it up in a day.
I was happy with the service, yes they are all brokers, its a sketchy business.

Thanks I’m gonna check them out.
Yeah the one company seams like their trying to pull a fast one by claiming it’s gonna be a 2 spot. I know these are long body’s but no other company mentioned anything about charging extra or taking two spots
