Fix it asap, there could be plastic shavings in oil from the tensioners being slapped by the chains, things only get worse if you let it go further

If the chains rattle for a second or two as the oil pressure builds up when you first start the car, then goes away, it's common and not a concern. If it is continuous after starting, get it looked at.

Use the Motorcraft oil filter. It will help retain oil in the journals to minimize the rattle.

I was thinking the same thing. A backflow valve on a quality filter may be the culprit. My Taurus rattled on cold startup with fleet filters. It stopped with a Motorcraft.
