No kidding when you said lots of pictures!

Man those are VERY beautiful. I love the polished look against the rims. They're so big too!

You should do some stopping tests. From 60mph, 70mph and from 100mph.

I have to "season the Rotor's" and "Bed the pads" before I can really do some hard testing. This establishes a wear pattern between the pad and rotor and it also relieves internal "stresses" within the rotor......
So, in a day or so, I'll get to REALLY test 'em out!!!

I will update accordingly!!!

Congratulations, MC, they look amazing! And, boy AM I JEALOUS!!

Considering the frustration and the wait, the payoff is especially sweet.

Rick at Baer says my kit and rear rotors ship next week, though mine are lowly BLACK calipers.:bigcry:

BTW, Scott paid you a HUGE compliment yesterday regarding your choice of mods and enthusiam for your car.

Congrats Kathy--They look super--like mine --except mine are the Polished
Red ones--(see my gallery pics)--take it easy for about 500 miles and they won't squeek--then you can test them----like Ms.M (Kathy) did --by accident--first time she drove #7--had it up to 100MPH ....and then the light turned red ahead........was a smooth stop....had to be there...it was

What's the wait time on these bad boys? I ordered a set front & back with black front calipers (black good. brute like black) on 6/2.

BTW, belated thanks for finding and sharing the link to performance depot. I missed your original post but picked up Todd's mention in another thread. Saved a couple bucks for sure.

You're welcome.

I was told turn around time on new orders was 3-4 weeks. My brakes took longer because I originally didn't order them from Performance Depot, and when that vendor (not a MM.NET vendor) dropped the ball, PD was able to take over the order, which was close to shipping at that time.

Also, the black ones match the stock rear calipers better, if that's important to ya. It might be for me. Is there any way we could have our stock rears polished up like MC's shiny Baer fronts?

I guess since the fronts do the bulk of the stopping grunt work, the rears do not have to be the same. Aesthetically speaking, I'd prefer they appear identical. Any such kit like that yet?

.yeah..somewhat.....it's a red can of spray paint, which I do for my rears (still OEM) on my Baer rear roders..about once a year spray or two worst case.....givesme a chance to clean out the rims anyway --all around....oh well...it's the cheaper way of getting them.. .........Tom
