Here is the science question for Mr. Man:

FACTS:
You have a 3250 lb Mustang GT, with 750 HP. It can accelerate for 0 - 60 MPH in 3.5 seconds. It does the quarter mile in 10.5 seconds, with a top speed of 127 MPH.

QUESTION:
How much face cream is required to get the smile off of your face?

Due to the cold, wet weather, I will probably drive the explorer to the Longhorn meet up.
Taking the Marauder out for the day involves moving several cars behind it in storage.

Science Question #2:

The car weighs 4500 lbs. It cover the quarter mile in 14.9 seconds. How many HP does it have?
hint: 550 ft-lbs/sec = 1 HP

Address not found on my GPS, called Longhorn for a GPS address, they have none. I see their directions I can print out, but no co-pilot to navigate, so not driving an hour working off paper, and getting frustrated, will not attend enjoy.

Address: 151 State Route 31, Flemington, NJ 08822 Try this address Jim. It is for the Flemington Dept Store and is literally across the highway from the Longhorn Grille. The Flemington Dept Store has been in it's location for 40+ years so address should come up. If not you need a better GPS. Longhorn Grille is in a shopping center set up, though it is a stand alone building. It's on the old Flemington Speedway site.

If you can get to I-95 N from Philly drive into NJ to exit 4 Rt 31N,. Stay on Rt 31N till you get there. 31N parallels 202N for a spell. Check out the Google Sat map on your computer and you can see where you need to pay attention as there are a couple of circles to deal with , but you just follow Rt31N. Shopping center is at the intersection(NE corner) of Walter E Foran Blvd and Rt 31. There is also a Lowe's, Walmart and a Pet Smart.

Also as an after thought, does the Longhorn address come up with directions without using Longhorn? Like if I was trying to come to your house I would just use your street address not your name and address.

We had such a great time at our JAM meet at Texas LongHorn today. Food was very good, waiter was phenomenal and the company was the best! We had a group of 10; Buickman & Rosemary, Fat Bastid & Valerie, Jsignorelli & Joanne, PRCAR GUY & Les and Mr. Man & Ms.D. There were 2 SB, 2 JPB, 1 DTR and 1 Explorer. Thanks everyone, for coming and we'll see you all next time!

Oh snap! :D That would have been so great if you showed up, Derek. We are thinking about Weyerbacher's so maybe we'll put something together in another few weeks.

Joanne and I had a great time at lunch. The Longhorn was a great selection.
Please tell Eric that I have a book for him to read.
The book is titled: "Why nothing can go faster than the speed of light"
It was written by one of my grad students (Dave Zimmerman)

We have to do outings like this more often, just to keep our friends close.

While gravitons are presumed to be massless, they would still carry energy, as does any other quantum particle. Photon energy and gluon energy are also carried by massless particles. It is unclear which variables might determine graviton energy, the amount of energy carried by a single graviton.

If my theory is correct then you need to get a movin' on a machine that can convert said energy into engines that can achieve Warp. Good luck Jim.

jsignorelli
10-24-2018, 06:03 AM
Technically, we already have such an engine. Plasma drive rockets, such as we use to reach the outer limits of our solar system, achieve extreme velocities, although very slowly. As their speed increases, so does their mass (thanks to E=MC^2)

As mass increases, the warping of space around the increased mass also increases. Just go fast enough, and you'll reach warp speed, curve space, and enter a dimension where time either stands still.......or goes backward!
