Latest installment in the 'Historical Mercurys' series. A 'one off' concept car - truly ahead of its time!

The 1956 - 1957 Lincoln Premiere Coupes were clearly inspired from the concept car.

Looks like a Mercury version of a Edsel.

Although I don't see any 'Edsel' in the concept car depicted above, I happen to like the Edsel. Sadly, it was not a well thought out project but had great potential otherwise. The following has been 'For Sale' for many years at $200k unless someone isn't updating their website. Every available option except a/c. First 1960 Edsel off of the line that was actually sold to a dealer (pre ordered by a customer).

Looks like a Crown Victoria bumped uglies with a Cadillac and they had a transgender baby.

Loved the 56 Lincoln. I thought the 57 went a bit overboard with the fins.
