Anyone own a "new" Fiat 124 Spyder?

I know it's basically an MX-5 underneath with Fiat flair. How is the reliability of the MX-5 powertrain. Haven't heard much negative about it, but would like to hear from owners of current gen MX-5's. :)

I’m reminded of the Saab 9-2x Aero and Subaru Impreza WRX - the same car for the most part, including Subaru drivetrains.

With the Miata and the Spider, it’s a bit different as the Spyder has a Fiat powertrain. The Miata received a slight power bump this year from what I understand. I hope someone chimes in who currently owns both from the same model year.
